In the Stereotactic mode, the Giotto uses the same detector, the same x-ray tube and all the same geometry to produce the stereo images that is used to acquire the screening and diagnostic images. This means that if you see any questionable area on the mammographic images, you will see the exact same anatomy on the biopsy images. No more will micro calcifications be seen on mammography images and not seen on the biopsy images.

Plus, the Giotto 3D when set up for stereotactic biopsy has many powerful features that it make fast and accurate:
